Roofing Panel Types
R-Panel / PBR-Panel
R-Panel is a low-maintenance, durable alternative to conventional roofing. R-Panels also come in a wide variety of eye-pleasing colors that can complement the look and feel of your current building or your design ideas for a new build.
PBR-Panels include a larger overlap section (purlin bearing leg) between panels that give the metal roofing sheets more strength. The PBR results in the same 36” coverage as the R-Panel. R-Panels & PBR Panels are designed primarily for commercial, industrial and steel frame building applications. They both offer versatility and can be used for sidewalls as well as metal roofing panels. They are available in 26-gauge Galvalume and are designed in many attractive colors that include a 40 year paint warranty. Fasteners, closures, dektites and custom trim pieces are also available to fit your project’s needs.
Advantage Panel / AG Panel
The Advantage Panel is a durable, weather-resistant metal roofing option for both residential and agricultural projects. These sturdy panels provide excellent protection against harsh weather conditions and will increase the lifespan of your roof. Plus, AG-Panels are not only cost-effective & provide high performance standards but they also lower the need for maintenance on your roof. Advantage panels are perfect for retro-fitting over existing composition shingles. These sheets of lower-profile metal roofing saves time, labor and disposal costs, which means a lower total project cost.
Permatile Panel
Designed to look like Mediterranean Tile, Permatile offers you the look of this beautiful roof with all of the advantages of metal. Permatile Panel roofing is lightweight & durable. Less than 1/10th the weight of traditional concrete tiles and 1/3rd the weight of asphalt shingles, Permatile is quick and easy to install and will hold up well in harsh weather conditions. Permatile also features special infrared reflective coatings the meet Cool Color requirements. Less heat is absorbed into the structure which can help lower energy consumption by up to 40% compared to conventional roofing materials.
The 26-guage steel panels are designed & constructed to withstand high winds up to 150 mph. Each panel is fastened with special screws fitted with EPDM washers to ensure waterproof seal. The panels run vertically from ridge to eave and are cut to the exact custom length needed. That means mold & mildew are virtually eliminated since the metal does not retain water like concrete tiles or asphalt shingles.
